Rax Lakhani pointed me at a video from Philip Schofield talking about Twitter. I hadn’t seen this before but what better way to prove your twitter identity!!!

what is this all about then?

The idea of valebrity is in the name - validation of celebrities! Earlier today, Mike Butcher asked the Duncan Bannatyne on Twitter to prove he was the real Duncan Bannatyne! I mentioned a few tweets later that it would be cool whether @wossy (aka Jonathan Ross who REALLY is HIM - see video below) was expected to validate the account of every celebrity that registered and put it on his blog… which i coined “valebrity”. I decided it might actually BE quite useful to have such a site to do two things. The first is to follow who is REAL on Twitter (and in the wider web world) and the second is to follow these real celebs and highlight interesting stuff that comes up. [youtube=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=FAdVsX5zCDs] That’s the idea anyway - we’ll see how it goes.
