What seems to be good about @wossy is right at the beginning (probably about 3 months ago) @wossy seemed to follow no-one and just send random (but often funny) comments out there.

A few people made comment (image above) and I’ve really noticed the change, he makes a real effort to engage with people and replies WAY more than one would have expected.  He does seem to be caught up in other people though, which I guess must be part of his *presenter* personality.

He has been on twitter longer than I have and has a solid fanbase.  His numbers have spiked a lot, especially since valebrity type tweeting started to occur.  What is good is that he plays the twitter game, he replies (image below)

… and RTs (image above) as well as posting comment.

Pretty sure by the stream of tweets that this is probably his agent or the like but also that it is authorised.  It’s not quite following the twitter purpose in my eyes because it’s all statements and no interaction.  Great marketing tool for the likes of Jimmy Carr.  I am happy to follow as the tweets are not incessant and also if he happened to be nearby on tour I might well decide if I’m free to go along and see!  It def raises the profile a bit. However,  I went back to beginning of tweets and he’s never replied to anyone – would be good to see interaction (and insults!).
