India de Beaufort (born June 27, 1987) is a British actress and singer/songwriter from London whose appearances include roles in Basil Brush and Run, Fatboy, Run. While many of her scenes were cut from Run, Fatboy, Run her character is instrumental in the film's plot, as she enforces a bet that would result in Simon Pegg's character being evicted if he doesn't finish the race. In 2003 de Beaufort released a novelty song with Basil Brush entitled "Boom Boom / Christmas Slide". The song remained in the UK charts for three weeks at position 44. De Beaufort is currently starring as Aneka in the BBC/Comedy Central fantasy comedy Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire. India De Beaufort joined the cast of One Tree Hill to star as Miranda Stone during the seventh season of the CW show, which new season premieres September 14, 2009. Stone is described as "a smart, successful record executive who has been sent to Tree Hill to oversee the day to day operations of boutique label Red Bedroom Records." Beaufort is the latest in a long line of new actors including Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten and Jana Kramer to round out the cast for Season 7.
