Terry Moran (born December, 1959, Chicago, Illinois) is the co-anchor of Nightline. He worked as a correspondent and anchor for Court TV, where he was recognized for his expertise in covering the Lyle and Erik Menendez murder trial in Los Angeles in 1993. He received the Lucia R. Briggs Distinguished Achievement Award in 2003. Before becoming co-anchor of Nightline, Moran had been ABC News' chief White House correspondent from September 1999 to November 2005. Prior to his White House assignment, Moran covered Vice President Al Gore's presidential campaign. Moran became one of the three full-time anchors of Nightline following Ted Koppel's last broadcast in November 2005. He often anchors World News and other ABC News broadcasts. He appeared in the 2007 hit comedy, The Heartbreak Kid, starring Ben Stiller.
